Wanting to move on after the sudden end of her three-year relationship, Valerie Lawrence moves to Michigan to start her life after her college graduation. With nothing tying her down and the future she envisioned nothing but a memory of the past, Valerie is determined to push her feelings into the past as well. While he spends the summer attempting to finish the first draft of his fantasy novel, escaping to the world he created is no longer as easy as it once was.
